At the 2001 Morijo dental clinic this Maasai lady, Tabula, presented with an osteoma that was 10cm x 12cm x 4cm attached to her left maxilla. We got her transported to Kijavi Regional Hospital and guaranteed payment for removal of the tumor.Many trips to the hospital, many false starts and two surgeries later, the job was completed at Kenyatta Hospital. She received her denture with teeth and an obturator to fill the large hole in her maxilla in early 2009. We saw her for the first time with a normal countenance on our most recent mission trip to Kenya in June.
